2월 25일 배송받아서 사용하기 시작했습니다.

4월경에 크롬북 프로도 출시예정에 있습니다.
크롬북 플러스와 프로의 차이는 cpu와 gpu에 있습니다.
크롬북 플러스는 cpu가 OP1, Made for Chromebooks, Hexa-core (Dual ARM® Cortex®-A72, Quad Cortex-A53 big.LITTLE™ configuration), Integrated graphic card는 Arm Mali-T860 인데 반해, 크롬북 프로는 core m3 라는 차이가 있습니다.
현재 공개된 벤치마크 점수는 octane score 9557 입니다. 프로 모델은 약 20000 가량 되는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
가격은 449달러, 배송비 2만원 가량, 부가세 55000원을 지불하였습니다.
일단 외관성 첫느낌은 깔끔합니다. 풀메탈바디에 슬림한 바디... 맘에 듭니다.
360도 회전하는 힌지는 노트북 모드와 타블렛 모드를 모두 무리없이 쓸수 있도록 해줍니다. 힌지는 지나치게 뻣뻣하지도, 흐물흐물 하지도 않고 딱 적당하게 조인 느낌입니다.
크롬 os를 처음 써보는데, 뭐 크게 불편한 것도 어려운것도 없습니다. 그냥 안드로이드입니다.
기존에 안드로이드 앱 대부분이 사용가능합니다. 아직까지 크롬 os자체가 안정화 된것은 아닌것 같고, 구글스토어도 베타버전입니다.
소소한 문제들은 아직 내포하고 있지만, 프로가 발매될 즈음 구글스토어 정식버전이 론칭될 예정이라 차차 안정화되어 갈 것으로 생각됩니다.
성능 자체는 빠릿빠릿하게 돌아가는 안드로이드 탭 정도로 생각하시면 될듯 합니다.
프로 모델에서 core m3가 들어가는 모델은 정말 쓸만할 것 같습니다.
무엇보다 가장 인상적인 것은 와콤펜입니다.
그냥 갤럭시노트7 정도의 화면 필기 능력을 보여준다 보시면 될 것 같구요.
화면 필기에 있어서 문제보다는 앱의 문제가 좀 더 있는 정도?
원노트도 사용하기 좋은 앱이지만, 스퀴드가 더 나은 것 같습니다. 최적화 정도에서...
제일 아쉬운 점이 마이크로소프트 오피스를 사용할 수 없다는 점입니다. 설치가 안됩니다.
단지 마이크로소프트 오피스 온라인은 사용이 가능합니다.
구글 워드, 쉬트, 슬라이드는 오프라인에서도 사용가능 하기 때문에 위안이 되는 점입니다.
이 기능이 가볍게 쓰는 유저 용도에서 조금 못마땅한 부분인 것 같습니다.
향후 기존 크롬북같이 하판을 열고 프로텍션 방지 나사를 풀고 윈도우10을 설치하는 법이 공개되면 최고의 가성비 와콤 태블릿 노트북이 될 것 같습니다.
아마 윈도우10 자체가 펜기능 지원이 내장되어 있기 때문에 향후 윈도우 10을 설치하면 와콤 기능도 자연히 사용가능하리라 기대됩니다.
사진에서 보여드렸듯이 와콤펜은 갤럭시노트7에 들어갔던 펜과 크기가 거의 비슷합니다. 약간 더 큽니다.
갤럭시노트7을 썼을때와 똑같은 필기감이고, 필압도 잘 먹힙니다.
단, 아직까지 안드로이드 앱들의 호환이 완전하지 않은 것은 사실입니다. 추후 좋아지리라 생각합니다.
원노트도 쓸만하지만, 아직 딱 맞는 옷은 아니란 느낌이고,
squid는 설정에서 대학노트, A4, 세로로 설정해놓고, 손가락으로 지우개를 쓸수 있게끔 설정해 놓으면 사용하기 편합니다.
또한, 사진과 같이 메뉴바를 왼쪽으로 옮겨 놓으면 오인식으로 인한 필기에 지장을 받지 않을수 있습니다.
현 시점에서는 squid에 가장 높은 점수를 주고 싶습니다. 필압 잘 먹히고, 펜 필기시 딜레이는 느껴지지 않습니다.
그럼에도 불구하고 가장 신경이 거슬리는 부분은 자동화면 회전 고정을 해놓아도 화면이 움직일 때 마다 자동으로 설정이 풀리면서 돌아간다는 점입니다. 이 점 역시 추후에 개선되리라 생각합니다.
총평:
최고의 가성비, 완성도 높은 와콤 태블릿 노트북.
